Some great friends from Australia, who had been undertaking a massive trip through Europe, Scandinavia and India, decided to fly over to Japan to say hello and see the sites. Amanda and I wanted to do something different from the regular tourist attractions in the Kansai region, so we rented a car and set out, aiming for Naoshima. Along the way we saw Neuschwanstein Castle off to the side of the road. Dan and Ainslie had just been to the area in German where the original castle was built and this happened to be a to scale replica of the same thing. We decided to check it out. Inside were a series of optical illusions, which is a slightly different interior to the actual Bavarian castle.
